Dr Phyllis Mullenix,
Neurotoxicologist
At the insistance of
the director of the Forsyth Research Institute Jack
Klein and Dr.
Harold Hodge, Dr. Mullenix researched the toxicology
of fluoride on the brain. Having been told by Dr.
Hodge the antimetabolic properties of fluoride including
the facts that fluoride inhibits cell proliferation
and delayed cell differentiation, Dr, Mullenix's study
confirmed the fact that fluoride was a neurotoxin.
Among other facts, her research indicated that the
amount of fluoride ingested was not so important as
the level of fluoride in the blood serum. Although
at the time an industry darling, the research she
presented on fluoride proved the third rail of her
career. Once the Manhattan
Project papers were declassified, Dr. Mullenix
learned that Dr. Harold Hodge, by then deceased, and
his associate, Dr.
Frank Smith, had been the Manhattan Projects lead
researchers on fluoride toxicity. Her findings mirrored
what Dr.
Hodge and his associates reported in 1940's and
1950's. Dr. Mullenix's dark
oddessy and subsequent political experience is
recounted in Christopher Byrsons book, The
Fluoride Deception . A small sampling of the scope
of her research is included. Waterwatch of Utah has
each of the documents.
Research papers
by Dr. Mullenix can be reviewed on request, Waterwatch
of Utah has several of the studies as provided by
Dr. Mullenix.
