Fluoride/Contaminated Water - National Legislation - 2005-2006 Representative Ken Calvert was involved in the 2000 Congressional Hearings on Fluoride . In 2005, he was a co-sponsor of a bill that would exempt water systems from liabilities surrounding contamination of drinking water. It is called the Drinking Water Standards Preservation Act (HR 1540)
